Foreigners require Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit Sikkim. 15 days stay permits can be obtained from all India Mission.
Sikkim Tourism Office, 14 Pancheel Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi
Sikkim Tourism, Middleton Street, Kolkata.
Sikkim Tourism: SNT Complex, Hill Cart Road, Siliguri
Rangpo Tourist Lodge, Rangpo.

Permit is issued on the strength of Indian Visa, foreigners are advised to carry Passport Photos and Photocopies of passport and visa copy if seeking extension.

Permit is extendable by 15 to 30 days in two request and can be done from the following places:

• Foreigners Registration Office, Kazi Road, Gangtok, Sikkim

• Superintendent of police, Gyalzing, West Sikkim

• Superintendent of Police, Namchi, South Sikkim

• Superintendent of police, Mangan, North District
